Part of this brief was to create a hypothetical more sustainable packaging update for an existing supermarket product and brand.
So I decided to design a recyclable and reusable tin box for Porta, a wonderful traditional bakery based in Gonnosfanadiga. The product I have
chosen is one of my favourite Sardinian sweets: pabassinas.

Pabassinas are typical Sardinian biscuits traditionally prepared for All Saints, Christmas and Easter, although Sardinians love to have them all year round. The name comes from the word pabassa which means raisins/sultanas in Sardinian language.

The box design takes inspiration from traditional Sardinian folk art and it will be made from fully recyclable tin and eco-friendly sustainable inks.
